The Humelock is a modern proximal humerus fracture system designed to ensure the correct height of the implant and the best consolidation of tuberosities. The implant is specifically for cephalotuberosity fractures.
The range of cases for which this system can be used is wider than a simple reconstructive anatomical prosthesis.
When a reverse prosthesis is not possible on account of the patient’s age (<70), Humelock can achieve optimal anatomical reconstruction of the tuberosities due to the the OMS which promotes stablitiy and consolidation of the tuberosities which are essential to shoulder function.
