Normed Rearfoot System

This is a modular systems offering functional use and specially designed for rearfoot surgery.  The system offers standard and locking screws.  The final plate and screw constructs offer great stability allowing early mobilization.  The material is titanium which is biocompatible and has a homogenious passivation layer.

There is a range of anatomic locking plates which are low profile and designed for specific applications.  Plate holes accommodate locking screws for instant stability and standard screws for variable angle fixation.  There is convergent fixed screw placement for greater fixation. Within the selection, opening wedge and step plate designs allow for precise anatomical alignment of the foot.  Fixed angle locking screws minimize micro-motion and standard screws allow for variable angle screw placement.

The screws are 3.5mm self-tapping with standard and locking available.  The screw head has TX-Lock for optimal torque, power transmission and screw-gripping.  The screw head is low profile in the plate with no protrusion.

Lapidus” Plating Set  Titanium plates with different steps ensuring highstability and adjustment of the arthodesis.  7 different steps from 0 - 6 mm ensure an exact correction.  Anatomically shaped plate contour.  High stability by crosswise used locking screws.  The “Lapidus” plate is used mainly for the arthodesis of TMT1 joint as well as for otherarthrodesis such as: Calcaneo-Cubioidale (CC) and Naviculo-Cuneiforme (NC) or osteotomies at MT 1, Charcot and instabilities of the Lisfranc area.

Universal Plating System 3.5  Universal 4-hole plates for stabilisationof many arthrodesis and osteotomies.  Multifunctional, flat and slim design.  Stable, universal with anatomically shaped contour.  Different lengths available.  This multifuncional plate is mainly used for Lisfranc and isolated tarsal fusions such as CC, NC and TN, base osteotomies like Closing- /Open-Wedge (e.g. Evans), Crescentic, Inter -positioning arthrodesis and MP-Joint Fusion.

Rearfoot Reconstruction Plating System  Multi-hole plates for reconstructions andarthrodesis.   Anatomically pre-shaped contour with high stability by locking screws used in crosswise orientation.  3 different models with 6, 8 and 14 holes available.  Multi-hole plates are specially designed for stabilization of the medial and lateral columns from the talus to the metatarsals (e.g. flatfoot, Charcot).

Calcaneus Displacement Plating System  “Dwyer” Plates have a step design to stabilize medial displacement osteotomies at the calcaneus.  2 mm profile for high stability.  3 different steps available: 6, 8 and 10 mm.  The step design allows for precise positioning and fixation of the distal fragments at different displacement osteotomies at the calcaneus.  Together with the locking screws, an additional standard screw can be fixed.
