The Provox Adhesives are a part of the Provox HME System. These base plate adhesives help to easily position the HME in front of the stoma stoma. Since every user is different, the standard Provox Adhesives are available in three different types and in two different shapes.
The different versions are for different skin types and the shapes are oval and round. There is a special unique version, the XtraBase, specially designed for FreeHands users. They are easy to apply and take off, with a peel off strip. They are either transparent or flesh color, to give a discrete appearance. The life time is between 24 to 48 hours, depending on type. The Provox HME Cassettes are the core of the product line for effective pulmonary rehabilitation for stoma breathers. They feature multiple functions and can be highly beneficial for the user. They help to improve the lost pulmonary functions.
- The air, inhaled through an unprotected stoma, is dry and deteriorates the cilia in the airways already at 35% relative humidity
