Provox Trocar with cannula is used for making primary or secondary TE punctures and is preferred to using a scalpel. After the trocar is withdrawn, the Provox Guidewire is inserted through the cannula.

Provox Guidewire enables retrograde insertion of all Provox indwelling prostheses. The tip contains a retainer slit that holds the security string of the prosthesis. There is also a stop on the guidewire shaft to allow extraction of theold prosthesis (after the tracheal flange has been cut off). To be used only with Provox indwelling voice prostheses.

Provox XtraFlange is a silicone washer, intended to reduce periprosthetic leakage in patients using indwelling Provox voice prostheses. Periprosthetic leakage (leakage around) is a known problem for users of any type of voice prosthesis. This type of leakage is detected in 11-13% of voice prosthesis replacements. The security medallion is cut off after replacement when the proper placement is confirmed.

Provox Measure is used to check the length (corresponding to prosthesissize) of TE fistulas. The correct prosthesis size (1-2 mm longer than the puncture) is important to minimize the risk of complications. The size should always be checked when a prosthesis is replaced. When in doubt always choose the longer version. An overly tight fit can harm the tissue.
Provox Dilator is used for increasing the diameter of a TE fistula by stepwise dilation. There is a retention collar at the end of each section prevents that section from sliding back to the preceding thinner section. Diameter at tip: 15 Fr (increases to 24 Fr in one device). Steps: 18, 20, 22, 24 Fr. It is re-sterilizable.
Provox Brush is for cleaning, the inside of the Provox voice prosthesis without removing it from the TE-fistula. Safety wings on the brush shaft help prevent accidental aspiration of the Provox Brush. Available in two lengths.

Provox Flush allows flushing air or fresh drinking water (under slight pressure) through the lumen of the prosthesis thereby helping to clean debris and crusts from the prosthesis as well as flushing mucus out of the pharynx and esophagus.

Provox Plug & Provox Vega Plug The Provox Plug is a first-aid tool for temporarily stopping leakage through the prosthesis.The plug is inserted into the opening of the Provox voice prosthesis with the help of the non-bristled end of a Provox Brush. The medallion end can be taped to the skin if desired. Although speech is not possible while the Provox Plug is in place, it is possible again after the plug is removed by pulling on the safety strap.

Provox Shower Aid is used with Provox Adhesives (FlexiDermor Regular). Used as a temporary replacement for a Provox HMECassette while taking a shower.
