Provox Vega voice prosthesis

In 1990, the first Provox voice prosthesis was introduced, followed by the second generation, Provox2, in 1997. Provox has made a global impact. Now we proudly present the third generation - Provox Vega voice prosthesis with SmartInserter™.

Provox Vega - the standard has been raised.

Provox 1

The original Provox 1 Voice Prosthesis is a self-retaining, indwelling, easy to manage device for prosthetic voice rehabilitation after total laryngectomy.  The prosthesis is suitable for laryngectomized patients with a tracheoesophageal (TE) fistula, also when created for several other types of voice prostheses.

Provox 2

The second generation Provox 2 voice prosthesis, is intended for anterograde and retrograde use.  This adapted prosthesis can be inserted during primary puncture at the time of laryngectomy, or during a secondary procedure at a later date, in the same manner as the original Provox prosthesis, using the separately available guide wire.

Provox Heat Moisture Exchangers (HME)

The Provox Adhesives are a part of the Provox HME System. These base plate adhesives help to easily position the HME in front of the stoma stoma. Since every user is different, the standard Provox Adhesives are available in three different types and in two different shapes.

Provox LaryTube & LaryButton

Laryngectomy tubes are used to maintain a patent stoma contracture.

The Provox LaryTubes are available in different lengths.  Selecting the optimal length is dependent on the depth and the shape of each individual stoma/trachea.  There are various outer diameter in order to achieve optimal fit in different tracheal lumens.

Provox Accessories

Provox Trocar with cannula is used for making primary or secondary TE punctures and is preferred to using a scalpel.  After the trocar is withdrawn, the Provox Guidewire is inserted through the cannula.
