Kurz Stapedioplasty
Stapedial prostheses are used for bridging over an immobile stapes secondary to otosclerosis. This is usually initiated from the long process of the incus.The KURZ range of stapedial prostheses are all made of pure medical grade 2 titanium (ASTM F67) which provides very good sound conduction even at higher frequencies because of its small mass.
Kurz Tympanoplasty
The range of Kurz tympanoplasty prostheses enables partial and total ossicular reconstructions; and the line offers prostheses in fixed and adjustable lengths. The patented adjustable TTP VARIAC system provide the surgeon with the shortest length of adjustable partial prosthesis on the market, namely 0.75mm in functional length.
