Provox FreeHands HME

The Provox FreeHands HME combines a Heat Moisture Exchanger (HME) with a new automatic tracheostoma valve.  The valve operates with magnetic support, thus reducing the effort needed to keep the stoma closed during speech.  Other magnets provide pressure relief in case of sudden coughing or lock the valve in an open position during heavier breathing.
 

Built in technical features:

• designed for simple and comfortable daily use

• can be attached to a Provox Adhesive base plate or a Provox Larytube with ring.

• small size, transparent colour and side openings which allow it to be covered by clothing

Provox HME Cap:

It is a dome-shape titanium ring that allows use of the FreeHands HME cassette without the FreeHands valve unit.  This can be convenient for night use of if no regular Provox HME cassettes are at hand.  It allows the stoma to be closed manually for speech.  Cassette must be changed after 24 hours.
