Provox Voice Prosthesis (Provox 2)

Portable:

• low-resistance, indwelling silicone voice prosthesis

• allows bidirectional insertion i.e. either anterograde insertion through the stoma or retrograde insertion through mouth and pharynx using guidewire

• Stable flanges reduce risk of dislocation

• slightly concave shape of the tracheal flange assures a proper fit even if fistula size changes slightly

Provox 2 can be inserted:

• immediately after TE puncture

• as a replacement prosthesis for Provox or other voice prosthesis.  The fistula may need to be dilated.

Provox Measure:

For measuring the length (corresponding to prosthesis size) of TE fistula
 

Provox Dilator:

For upsizing the diameter of TE fistular by stepwise dilation

• when changing from a smaller prosthesis

• for temporary stenting of a TE fistular; irrespective of type and diameter of the voice prosthesis used

• in case of shrunken fistula, i.e. after the rare even of a lost voice prosthesis
